Automatic two-row harvester for tobacco top leaves. Model conceived, constructed, and patented for the automated harvesting of the top leaves of two rows at a time. The RA742 harvester, which operates on a 110 to 130 cm inter-row width, has 4-wheel drive powered by a hydrostatic drive system with wheels that steer only with the rear. Machine type approved for circulating on the road. The defoliation, which is done simultaneously two rows at a time, is carried out by two groups of knives defoliating units. The detached leaves are sent onto inclined conveyor belts which, in turn, provide to convey them to inside of the storage receptacle. This one, situated on the rear part of the machine, may be emptied by dumping into special transport carts.
