Evaporative cooling pad

When external temperature is high (above 28-30°C), a simple ventilation system is not enough and the poultry house should be equipped with a proper cooling system assuring the well-being of the animals. To avoid heat-related problems, SPEROTTO S.p.A. supplies the following cooling systems: * PAD COOLING SYSTEM * FOG SYSTEM PAD COOLING SYSTEM Pad cooling system is studied especially for hot and dry climates. It is based on the evaporation process: air enters in the poultry house through the ventilation system, it crosses some wet cellulose panels and becomes cooler, producing a decrease in inner temperature. The cellulose panels present a galvanized or stainless steel frame and are manufactured to absorb the water coming from a closed circuit equipped with a special underground cistern. The whole system is automatically regulated by the climate controller. Cooling panels can be installed either on dog houses or on the walls of the poultry house. They are supplied with or without galvanized external protections that, on request, may be equipped with sand proof netting, which is very useful in desert regions.
