SARA is a compact loosener. It can be fitted with a mechanical (or optional hydraulic) hitch to accommodate a combined machine. Its structure also makes room for a power take-off. This means that soil preparation and seeding can be carried out in a single pass. This saves a considerable amount of time.
This tool loosens the soil to a depth of 60 cm without disturbing the surface. The Michel curved tines are ideal for this type of work. Their shape and bolt-on security ensure better quality work.
What's more, this is a customisable model. The fixing clamps allow the tines to be removed or moved. In its standard version, SARA can be extended from 3 to 4 metres.
Standard equipment includes the following:
A sturdy 140 x 140 x 10 mm single-beam fixed frame. Its compact design makes it easy to add another tool.
The chassis is designed to accommodate a power take-off shaft.
The Michel tines have reversible shares. They are curved and positioned towards the inside of the tool. In this way, SARA ensures good soil fragmentation without any soil rising up.
The tines are secured by bolts.
A support stand holds the machine when not in use.
Lighting and signalling are also standard features on the subsoiler.
