Stranda Prolog’s pumps are gentle on the fish and easy to operate. Placing them below or as close as possible to sea level reduces the suction level to as little as – 0,1 bar. This all but eliminates injuries to the fish due to ruptured capillaries and upset swim bladders. The pumps come with one, two or three vacuum chambers (Mono, Duplo or Triplo) In the Triplo configuration the output is practically uninterrupted. Similarly, at the intake end, the suction also remains constant, requiring less crowding of the fish in the cage, thus reducing stress and increasing fish welfare and product quality. Large inspection hatches make maintenance, cleaning and internal inspection easy. Compressors are placed in prefabricated containers, ensuring a clutter free work environment.
