The 10 mm thick base plate made out of Hardox-500 steel is sharpened to act as the cutting blade. The frame is Hardox-400 steel, so despite its light weight, TMK 200 will also withstand heavy work and can cut up to 200 mm trees. Cutting force can be increased by pushing with the machine while cutting, so the blade sinks into the tree more efficiently.
