Valon Kone’s debarker model VK450 is the best-selling rotor debarker for small logs on the market. Almost 200 pcs of corresponding machines have been delivered since the 1980s. The long-lasting popularity of this machine model lies behind its reliability and ease of use, which guarantees the customer constantly high quality debarking results with minimum maintenance costs. Basic vs. Heavy Duty version Four different versions of the VK450 debarker model are available: two Heavy Duty (HD) versions (VK450HD and VK450HDSL) and two Basic versions (VK450 and VK450SL). If the logs are sufficiently long, the VK450 debarker model is built primarily with six feedrolls. An SL (short log) version with eight feedrolls can also be built for debarking short and/or poor quality logs.
