The SL 1400 from Ala-Talkkari is a large-volume sand spreader designed for use with rear lift machinery, which can be fitted to be self-loading. The design has strived for low height, which increases the field of vision of the driver, without compromising too much on volume, however. In the sand spreader, the machinery and the controls are protected by the shaping of the scoop which is wider on the top. The same shaping has been used to increase volume without increasing height.
Technology:
Roller-operated sand spreader with a crusher shaft.
Even when using poorer quality materials, the impregnability of the seals has been ensured by using double rubber seals with spring reinforcement. The gap between either of these rubber seals against the sander roller can be adjusted at the same time, using an adjustment spindle.
When the spindle is in the neutral position, the sand spreader can be emptied quickly.
The operating power of the sand spreader is taken from the tractor's hydraulics. For the stepless adjustment of the amount to be spread, the sand spreader is fitted with an adjustment valve for the amount of oil.
A telescope cylinder for making this sand spreader self-loading is sold separately.
