FEATURES & BENEFITS Enclosed fan-cooled electric motor The TG5000E is equipped with a 500-hp (373-kW) Weg totally enclosed fan-cooled electric motor to power the mill. A separate 60-hp (44.7-kW) electric motor powers the pump for the hydraulic circuits, while a 2-hp (1.5-kW) electric motor powers the fan to cool the hydraulic system. Motor starter panel The motor starter panel provides options to configure a control system that best fits your application - whether that’s a soft-start or VFD panel. Reversible hammers and tips The duplex drum offers proven cutting performance, and reversible hammers and tips nearly double the wear life of single-sided designs and simplify daily maintenance. Thrown object restraint system (TORS) The patented TORS reduces the amount and distance of thrown objects, and has a smooth underside for better material flow. On-rig display or remote control Monitor real-time performance and data via the on-rig display or remote control.
