The Visser Multi Planter provides ultimate flexibility in transplanting combinations. The transplanter is available with 6 to 12 grippers. The grippers have XY movement and can move independently from each other. This makes it highly accurate and allows it to plant up to 4 plants in a fixed position in a pot. The transplanter is designed to plant directly on the carrousel a potting machine, such as the Mayer 2400. Twelve wirelessly controlled grippers achieve a maximum capacity of 7,000 plants per hour. When transplanting three plants per pot, 4,000 pots per hour can be reached. Wireless controls mean less maintenance is required, and flexibility is increased. The newest gripper technology improves strength, precision, and durability. The powerful grippers make expensive push-up units abundant. The Visser Multi Planter is designed for growers with a wide range of transplant programs. Almost every combination can be programmed using a state-of-the-art Siemens touch screen and controls to store up to 100 plant combinations. The machine can be built with several kinds of infeed and outfeed options. Tray-to-tray transplanting is possible when the machine is equipped with two source chain conveyors. The chain conveyor side guiding is now adjustable with just one rotating handle, improving flexibility and making it extremely easy to change tray sizes.
