The Star Feeder is the optimal feeder for dry and soaked feeding of pigs weighing from 7 kg to slaughter weight. The round trough of the Star Feeder ensures that several pigs can be fed simultaneously. The round trough also ensures that feed and water are mixed faster and more evenly. These advantages reduce the time spent at the feeder and reduce the rist of tail biting and fighting for the feed. The dispenser head above the trough features two pendulums dispensing the feed where the pigs are standing and ensuring that the pigs are not in contact with the feed before it is in the trough thus preventing clogging of the feeder. This makes the Star Feeder ideal for installation between two pens, as there will be no neighbour feeding.
