Waikato Milking Systems detergents are formulated to remove salt deposits and break up layers of dirt to enable the breakdown of proteins in the milking system. Our range of detergents have been formulated for varying farm environments taking into consideration water hardness, iron content, water use, soil type, soil land and the milking equipment being used. The effectiveness of detergents is reliant on the correct water temperature throughout the wash cycle. When thoroughly cleaned with acid and alkaline detergents, milking equipment can achieve high levels of bacteriological cleanliness, as well as becoming physically and chemically clean. The further use of disinfectant can further enhance these levels of bacteriological cleanliness.
