Durable and stable
In a first step, the reinforced concrete bottom slab including the starter bars for the walls is installed on a sloping granular subbase prepared for this purpose.
The walls are subsequently concreted using a non-absorbent steel frame surface formwork with anchor cones, with heights reaching from 1.0 m to 5.0 m. The walls are designed slightly conical to ensure that the bulk material is optimally compacted and can be removed easily.
All on-floor storage facilities are built as segmented structures using ready-mixed concrete cast in place, featuring high-quality double joint seals to reliably prevent fluid leakage. Due to the high-class static design featuring a crack width 33% smaller than specified in applicable standards and guidelines, the requirements on silo paints and coatings to be applied are considerably lower.
Since all work is done by skilled personnel, we can guarantee a constantly high quality of our Wolf System silage clamps on a permanent basis.
