When designing its valve boxes, Wynveen devoted special attention to preventing internal leaks. By using the most advanced techniques, the clearance between the moving parts has been kept to an absolute minimum. Moreover, the end of the valve that controls the product remains outside the material flow, preventing wear and resulting leaks. The shaft of the valve rotates in dust-tight bearings for trouble-free operation and this also prevents dust from escaping from the transport system. The electro-pneumatic control system consists of a strong compressed-air cylinder with a solenoid valve. Inductive sensors can be fitted as position indicators. Wynveen International B.V. can supply pneumatically controlled slides which are fully enclosed as standard. This prevents dust from escaping from the system, thereby creating a clean and hygienic working environment which also improves personal safety.
