We offer our customers individual calf pens which are designed for indoor use, but they can also be used outdoors if they are roofed. Our calf pens are composed of a strong, durable, high-quality steel structure which is filled with PVC planks. Each calf pen is spacious with an area of 1,5 m2 inner space. Exterior walls are built up to avoid draught. There is, however, a possibility of air cooling each pen during hot and not windy days, as the back wall possesses tightly closed air openings. Front doors are equipped with two metal rings for feed containers and one holder for a bucket with milk. Buckets and feed containers are optional extras. Our calf pen is equipped with wheels and hand-holders, by means of which one can pull a calf pen to remove dung or to wash and disinfect it. The calf pen can be roofed either with an anti-condensation roof sheet or an insulated PIR sandwich panel at some extra cost. Calf pens can be purchased in a combination of 1 or 2 individual calf pens. Our calf system meets the Animal Protection Act and Welfare Standards. It is designed to improve hygienic and living conditions of farm animals and helps to keep disease-susceptible young calves healthy.
