METABOLIC-BOOSTER is a water-soluble supplement used in prevention and treatment of ketosis It is an ideal source of energy for ruminants during times when energy demand is high (e.g. early lactation) and prevents stored fat from being used as an energy source. METABOLIC-BOOSTER helps reduce the ketone bodies that build up in the liver of an energy deficientanimal, which suffers from ketosis. It is rich in niacin and other B-Complex vitamins, which activate the metabolism of the animal. Composition: Dextrose, DL-methionine. Recommended dosages: For cows: 50 g/1 L of potable water/animal, at the first signs of labor, and 50 g/1 L of potable water/animal, after labor for 5 days. For sheep and goats: 12.5 g/0.5 L of potable water/animal, at the first signs of labor, and 12.5 g/0.5 L of potable water/animal, after labor for 5 days.
