ATL was formed in 1981 by Robin Sadler and David Coxshall to design, manufacture and sell affordable equipment for the modern dairy farmer. From the outset the products have been affordable, reliable and easy to use, with excellent customer service and support. Since 2008, ATL has been managed by Robin's two sons, Peter and Richard.

ATL has a dedicated research and development department, which has developed unique, patented, technologically advanced products, with the aim of increasing dairy farm productivity by reducing time and labour cost inputs.

ATL and it's products are a popular choice for dairy farmers because of their adaptability to suit the needs of all types and sizes of dairy farms. Many products operate effectively as stand alone units, making them suitable for the smaller dairy farmer. However, all products are capable of being integrated into a computerised milking parlour using ATL PC software, providing the capability of automatically monitoring the progress of eash animals yield and the overall management of the dairy herd.
