Cotexa Alcalaína is a company dedicated to the comprehensive manufacturing of agrotextiles and other industrial technical fabrics. After more than 40 years of experience in the protected agriculture sector, at Cotexa Alcalaína we continue working to offer fabrics adapted to the needs of our client and that are sustainable in both their production and application.

Total control in the production process means that the company manufactures the monofilament and raffia threads with which the custom cloths are made.

In recent years we have worked on strategies focused on sustainability and, seeking to make our activity more respectful of the environment, we are committed to the circular economy within our processes.

We are specialists in protected agriculture .

This is one that is carried out under conditions in which the farmer can control some environmental factors such as rain, hail, frost, pests or the sun... With which, he can minimize the impact that changes in climate cause to crops.

Thanks to the management of environmental conditions through agrotextiles, efficiency is increased and, consequently, the production , profitability and quality of crops is increased, in addition to contributing significantly to the sustainability of agriculture.

At Cotexa Alcalaína we are committed to offering a high quality product that fully satisfies the demands of our customers. That is why we have implemented an integrated management system in our company that includes quality and environmental management, in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

We dedicate a large part of our effort to regularly supervise our production processes, evaluating and controlling the parameters obtained, guaranteeing that our products meet all the required technical specifications. Our quality is entirely linked to the production process and, thanks to the fact that we control all the links in it, we can offer excellent results for our fabrics. The process begins, previously, with the selection of the raw material: in our case, polyethylene and polypropylene.

At Cotexa we are committed to our environment and, seeking sustainability and with the commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, we are introducing changes in our activity in favor of care and respect for the environment.

Seeking to act in accordance with our values ​​and commitments to the environment and, working on future projects in order to make the plastic sector an activity committed to the environment, in the last year we have incorporated more than 200 tons of recycled material to our production. As a sign of our commitment to the circular economy, we obtained the MORE 2023 certificate , which certifies the integration of recycled plastic into our production process.
