Gehaka
Who we are
When it was founded in 1956, Gehaka was dedicated exclusively to the trade of measuring instruments used in the agricultural segment, for control and assessment of the quality of grains and sub-products. Its history of success began there, becoming soon a reference in the supply of those products in the national and international markets.
Always willing to innovate, invest in experience, resources and technology in order to expand its area of operation, from 1979, for the laboratory sectors of research, teaching and quality control. It has chosen to focus on the development, manufacture and distribution of other types of instruments, such as analytical and semi-analytical scales, statistical processors, humidity, pH, conductivity analyzers, TOC and melting point, densimeters, viscometers, liquid dosers, mixers, mills among others. In this way, it has achieved the goal of offering a wide range of products and solutions for various market segments.
In 2006, the company added to its portfolio the manufacture of various types of purifiers and ultra-water purifiers, equipment capable of producing pure water for both glassware rinse and for use in formulations of pharmaceuticals products, cosmetics, etc.
Two years later, in 2008, recognition was conquered with the accreditation of the Inmetro General Accreditation Coordination (Cgcre) according to ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard for its laboratory for scale calibration services, and in 2011, with ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
In 2013, Gehaka's grain moisture testing laboratory became part of RBLE - Brazilian Testing Laboratories Network, a group of laboratories accredited by Inmetro General Accreditation Coordination (Cgcre) to perform testing services.
In 2015, Gehaka's calibration and testing laboratory awarded new accreditations for the provision of testing and calibration services for pH and conductivity measuring instruments.
In 2017, Gehaka obtained the technical approval of the model, through the Inmetro/Dimel Ordinance No. 028, of February 14, 2017, of the new moisture meter G1000 type, intended for use in trade transactions (buying and selling) of grains.
Also in 2017, Gehaka adapted its quality management system in accordance with the new version of ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Throughout all these years, Gehaka's philosophy was to offer, through its exclusive distribution and specialized technical assistance network, an efficient regional service tailored to the needs of each client.
