Hexagon's Agriculture division was formed, with unprecedented expertise in converting data into intelligent information, promoting true digital transformation in the field, enabling smart planning, efficient execution, precise machine controls and automated workflows that optimise operations and increase profits.

In 2014, Hexagon brought together three leaders in innovation and solutions for agroindustry — Arvus Tecnologia, ILab Sistemas and the agriculture business of Leica Geosystems. Exploring the technologies developed by these organisations, Hexagon saw the huge potential in automating operations and increasing productivity in agriculture throughout the world. This potential was realised through the unique combination of hardware, software and know-how provided by the trailblazers that would become the foundation of Hexagon’s Agriculture division.
