Company Hittner has a tradition of 30 years and its currently the largest manufacturer of forest tractor in Europe, with more than 550 tractors already produced for many EU countries. When it comes to quality production, according to market demands, Hittner's tractors incorporate CUMMINS, DEUTZ and LOMBARDINI engines, and SAUER DANFOSS and LINDE hydraulic pumps, which is the best evidence of serious high-quality orientation. As far as customer and business partners are concerned, the successful development and application of new technologies in business have resulted in the acquisition of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 international certificates issued by United Registrar of Systems from the United Kingdom and the acquisition of the AAA European Certificate of Prudential Excellence. The big assortment of Hittner contains Skidders ,forestry tractors:55V, 120V and 140V, a small forest tractor-Forester 40 hp and small agricultural and municipal tractors ECO 40 hp and ECO 30 hp, produced by the model “Tomo Vinkovid”. Furthermore, besides tractors, Hittner can offer couplings and agricultural machinery, such as: tiller, trailer, rotary mower, rear and front mower, plug, ultivator, sprinkler, salt spray, frog hunter, cattle steward, firefighter upgrade for forest tractor, company Hittner also has professional self-propelled mowers from 6 hp to 9.5 hp, equipped with high-quality Kohler engines. Hittner’s machine park includes modern and state-of-the-art technology on the market, from renowned manufacturers such as Okuma, Hüller, Hille, Colchester and many others. In addition to the tractors and attachments, Hittner also manufactures all the necessary spare parts, and thanks to its high technology equipment, it can process and refine all types of gears, sprockets, rubber-metal products (such as elastic pads), engine frames, exhausts, cabin, axle, gearbox,linkage, etc. With the manufacturing of finished products, components and parts for its own needs, Hittner manufactures gear, sprockets and shafts for SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Žetelice d.o.o., which exports its complete program to the international market. It is significant for the outstanding collaboration of Hittner with the scientific community - the Forestry Faculty in Zagreb, which has been involved in Hittner tractor production for many years now and whose professors are continually carrying out scientific research on tractors in field work in cooperation with the state-owned Croatian forest company, on whose initiative production of Skidders began twenty years ago. It is important to emphasize that on the basis of the results of the research, the professors of the Faculty of Forestry have proved that Croatian tractor company Hittner is more competitive than the tractors of foreign manufacturers, when calculating the cost-effectiveness of the machine, in this case calculating the efficiency of tractor operation on the ground and under load. Also, tractors are more cost-effective because Hittner manufactures spare parts and provides a fast service, as well as training of the service partners, certified each year after the completion of the seminar.
