Innoquest, Inc. History
Founded in 1993 by Bill Hughes, P.E., Innoquest has grown steadily, driven by a "Quest for Innovation." A licensed professional engineer with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois, Mr. Hughes has designed over 85 products, earning 19 AE-50 awards from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and holding 10 patents, with more pending. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1991 with the design and sale of humidity sensors for greenhouse control systems. Innoquest was officially established in 1993, initially focusing on electronic rain gauges. By 1996, the company expanded into contract design and manufacturing, partnering with Spectrum Technologies, Inc., to develop over 50 agricultural products for global markets by 2008.

In 2008, Innoquest introduced the SpotOn® brand, refocusing on proprietary products. Today, the company continues to expand its offerings, building strong distribution partnerships to serve the Agriculture, Horticulture, Greenhouse and Turf industries.
